Look with mercy upon your children O heavenly Father,
especially those affected by the fire and disaster in Ft. McMurray and aid those who are in trouble or distress, and provide comfort for both the physical and mentally troubled. And cause us to move and be moved by you lest our prayers are rendered empty by inaction but carry out fulfilling the needs of others by our readiness to action; to act as your hands, your feet, your heart; that those who are affected by this tragedy may find us eager to help for the sake of him who loves and serves us all, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
